Joining the SSSA
Membership in SSSA includes complementary membership in one of our affiliates (Economics, Geography, History, International Studies, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, Women's and Gender Studies), and additional affiliates may be joined for only $5 apiece.
Our membership services are maintained by Blackwell, the house that publishes Social Science Quarterlyand many other fine scholarly journals.

A portion of each member’s dues go to supporting the activities of the affiliates to which the member belongs.
Benefits of Membership
- Subscription to SSQ. Membership in the Association includes one year's subscription to SSQ, published quarterly with a bonus special issue each year. In 2005 the special issue covers Inequality and Poverty, and in 2006 the topic will be Ethnicity and Social Change.
- SSQ Back Issue Access. Your membership dues include personal online access to all available back issues of SSQ for as long as your membership is maintained. Currently, the years available go back to 2001, and you have the option of purchasing hard copies of back issues and volumes.

How Do I Join?
Join Now. Joining the SSSA is easy. Simply go to Blackwell’s SSQ website, and click Membership, or go directly to Blackwell’s SSSA Membership site, and select your membership category. You may join with most major credit cards, check or money order.
